Les + Les - Avis Didn’t even know I wasn’t covered anymore. They opt you out at the end of the year unless you know and remember when you have to opt in. If you forget and it’s past the date, you’re no longer eligible. But they don’t even send you a courtesy email or anything. Doesn’t make any sense!! I lost $300 on prescriptions I thought were covered!!! Customer service is no help. Avoid at all costs |

Les + Les - Avis When my several hundred dollar claim was initially denied for reasons that did not make sense, I called Studentcare to sort out why. The agent I talked to tried to convince me that I was wrong and should accept my claim denial even though I quoted directly from the text of the insurance policy with evidence that my claims were valid. It felt like his goal was not to listen to me but to tell me I had no options. Only after requesting to talk to a supervisor, and suggesting I would complain to my Graduate Students’ Association, did he concede that I may have a point and directed me to Sunlife, the insurance provider. The staff at Sunlife recognized that the claim should be reprocessed and my claim was properly taken care of. If Studentcare is your plan administrator, double check their claims and don’t be afraid to escalate your concerns past them. |

Les + Les - Avis These agents are definitely not trained. They give horrible service, and they’re rude. Worst of all, they never have any answers. They just tell you to keep resubmitting claims and calling back. I was on a call and a chat and the agents gave me different information and instructions. This time, one told me to resubmit and another told me to wait again. I have already received an email saying my claim was processed on October 3rd, and that was my second time submitting it. What is wrong with these agents?! I escalated to a supervisor. If they trained/hired them, I don’t expect to get much further. |
